As this wet weather pattern emerges, cooler temperatures are also expected to follow in certain parts of the Northeast.
The shift in weather is linked to changing monsoon patterns and wind conditions over the Andaman Sea, the Gulf of Thailand, and nearby areas. While the upper regions of Thailand might see a reduction in showers, isolated thunderstorms remain a possibility. Conversely, southern parts of the country are likely to face heavy rainfall, which could lead to flooding and other hazards due to rain accumulation.
Marine operators have been advised to exercise caution, particularly in areas experiencing thunderstorms, as moderate waves are anticipated in the upper Andaman Sea, with the potential for higher waves during stormy conditions.
