Meanwhile, the women’s 100m event also saw strong performances from Thai athletes. Jirapat Khanonta advanced to the semi-finals after winning her heat, setting a personal-best time of 11.45 seconds. Her compatriot, Sukanda Petraksa, also earned a place in the semi-finals by finishing third in her heat with a time of 11.54 seconds.
