Under the leadership of Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm, Vietnam’s 14th Party Central Committee commenced its third meeting in Hà Nội. This five-day session is dedicated to advancing the resolutions set forth by the 14th National Party Congress, with a keen focus on enhancing Party governance, reforming the political system, and propelling national development forward.
The committee delves into 13 significant policy areas, evaluating improvements in State governance and land law reforms. Economic restructuring, technology-driven growth, environmental protection, and national security are also on the agenda. These discussions extend to assessing the newly established political system, scrutinizing the two-tier local administration model, and considering proposals to designate Quảng Ninh and Bắc Ninh as centrally governed cities.
In his address, Tô Lâm urged for decisions that are not only practical but also action-oriented, aiming to dismantle obstacles to development and optimize national resources. He stressed the importance of elevating public services through decisive action.
Tô Lâm further emphasized the need for all resolutions to be converted into concrete implementation plans. He advocated for plans to be outlined with distinct responsibilities, specific timelines, and measurable outcomes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in execution.
