Wildfires are making headlines across North America, but the danger doesn’t stop at your front door. Smoke particles can easily find their way inside, affecting the air you breathe. To help, Carrier is stepping in with solutions to improve indoor air quality and keep families safe.
Experts recommend running HVAC systems with high-efficiency filters, sealing windows and doors, and using portable air purifiers with HEPA technology. “Even indoors, smoke can cause problems,” explained Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our products are designed to cut down harmful particles and make your home a safer space.”
Carrier is also giving back, recently donating $2.5 million worth of air purifiers to schools and frontline workers in Los Angeles to support community health.
