Incorporating whole grains such as roti, brown rice, or millets can further boost the meal’s nutritional value.

Traditional dishes such as vegetable khichdi, dal with rice, millet rotis with vegetables, vegetable upma, and curd served with roasted vegetables continue to be nutritious and are excellent choices for a balanced diet. Healthy eating does not necessarily mean following every new food trend. Instead, a more practical and sustainable approach involves crafting a balanced plate with vegetables, protein, healthy carbohydrates, good fats, and seasonal ingredients, supporting long-term health effectively.
